How to Change Your Personal Information at a New Jersey DMV

Reading Time: 2 minutes

If you move to a new address in New Jersey or became a new resident of the state, you must inform the Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC). It must be done regardless if you have a driver’s license or own a vehicle. The MVC also issue state ID to all residents. So, you have three options to notify NJ MVC about your new address. You can do it online, by phone, or in person.
