Getting Your Oklahoma Driving Record: Step-by-Step

Oklahoma offers different record types:

  • Certified
  • Non-certified

Each contains 3-years of your driving history including any accidents, convictions, and violations. You can request other driver’s information if you’re a govt agent, attorney, or insurance agent.

Fees to get your driving record include:

  • Certified: $28
  • Non-certified: $25

You can request these documents through the Oklahoma DMV to get official, certified documents. Or, use third-party providers to get unofficial OK driver documents. These third-party providers can save time and hassle when getting your driver information.

Driver Record Request Online

An online OK driver record request is the fastest and easiest option:

  1. Visit the OK DPS portal
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts
  3. Pay the record request fees:
    1. $25 online
    2. Free if 65 years old and older
    3. $3 extra for certified copies
    4. $2.50 processing fee

You can download and print your unofficial copies. Else, wait for your certified copies to process and arrive by mail in about a week or two.

Driver Record Request in Person

The driver record request is essentially the same process minus how it’s submitted.

  1. Download and fill out the Records Request and Consent to Release (DPS 303RM) form
  2. Go to the DMV office located at:
    1. 3600 N. Martin Luther King Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK.
  3. Provide your personal information
  4. Pay the driving records fee(s)

Driver Record Request by Mail

Mail-in request requires you to:

  1. Complete the Request Request form
  2. Include a check or money order
  3. Mail the documents to the DPS
